Premium
Management
House of Administration is approved by service providers such as Netcash, Easy pay, Q-link, employer stop order and direct deposit to collect premiums on behalf of the Insurer, FSP and/ or JR using our Category IV license as distribute funds as per signed agreements.
Complaints
Management
Adequate and effective complaints management is fundamental to the insurer’s business. We efficiently and effectively handle complaints on behalf of the insurer in line with the insurer’s complaints management framework and policy protection rule (PPR) to ensure the fair treatment of complainants
Claims
Management
House of Administration has an effective claims management framework that includes and is
not limited to.
- Documented procedures for the appropriate management of the claims process from the time that the claim is received until it is finalized, including the time frames as agreed with the Insurer.
- Appropriate communication with claimants and/or their FSP/JR as per agreement.
- Appropriate claims record keeping.
- Claims dispute process that must be communicated to the claimant and/ or their FSP/ JR in line with the Insurer claims framework
Data
Management
Effective data management is fundamental to an insurer’s business. We thoroughly process the data to ensure that data management is in line with the Insurer’s framework and Policy Protection Rules (PPR). House of Administration has an effective data management framework that includes and is not limited to:
- Systems and controls relating to the processing of any data which always enable the Insurer, Juristic Representatives, Financial Services Provider to have access to the latest and most accurate data.
- Comply with the relevant legislation relating to confidentiality, privacy, security, and retention of data.
- Comply with any reporting requirements i.e., covered lives, age, benefit amount, product etc.
- Disaster recovery plans are in place and data is stored on the cloud and not on physical servers.
Advisory &
Intermediary
We act as the Insurer’s intermediary in relation to financial services that are being rendered by unauthorized entities with a view to assisting them to acquire their own financial services provider authorization. We strongly believe that compliance is a key competitive differentiator for driving juristic representatives and insurers’ sales and revenue. Therefore, our aim is to assist juristic representatives and insurers to establish a culture of compliance in their day-to-day business.
- Provide key individual services to juristic representatives if they do not have fit and proper key individuals.
- Place owners/managers/directors of juristic representatives as natural representatives under supervision with the view of them becoming fit and proper key individuals of juristic
- Place juristic representatives’ employees that do not meet the fit and proper requirements as representatives under our supervision.
- Regularly manage or oversee the rendering of financial services by juristic representatives and employees
- Provide general compliance advice and guidance to juristic representatives and their employees with emphasis on the adherence to the FAIS Act and subordinate legislation.
- Provide juristic representatives with policies and procedure required in terms of FAIS Act.
- Ensuring that juristic representatives’ employees are trained in relation to rendering of financial services (i.e., product specific training) by in-house or outsourced service providers
- Conduct onsite visits at the juristic representatives to determine level of compliance with applicable legislation.
